Accessible interface classes

Could someone explain the Accessible interface and why it should be used or even
better when it should be used. Thanks

Take a look at this description of the
Accessibility API:

Essentially the Accessibility API provides support for
assistive technologies such as screen readers, speech
recognition systems and refreshable braille

Accessible interface classes

For those interested, there is a Federal Law
which mandates that applications for the general public
should take into account handicap
accessability. So, depending upon the audience of your application,
you should use the Accessibility API. Stephen
