I’m actually looking for two solutions; one for each platform.

First setup:

Apache, MySQL, and PHP on Fedora

Second setup:

Apache, MySQL and PHP on WindowsXP through wampserver.com’s multi-server

I’m trying to figure out how to send an automatically generated HTML email via
php.

I am currently looking into setting up send mail (I’d like an easier solution
than send mail though) on my linux box but I don’t know what to use for
Windows.

I would like to be able to write basically the same code in PHP for both
systems.

Same solution both platforms

I use it under Unix and WIN32.
