Hi friends !
Is there anybody who could tell me from where I could download a book of
Visual Fox 5.0, another one with Delphi 3.0 (or 4), and one with Visual Java
(I have Visual Café Version 3) ?
But I need not a large archived file (let`s say : 3-4 Megabytes) because I
have a Dial-Up Connexion home (I live in Romania and here in my village
near Bucharest there is no cable for Internet...I`ll write my presentation
after this...) so that would be much (if there are extraordinary books then
I could think for larger files...I`ll see after your recommendations ...)
Of course a book like that cannot have pictures (only text) but I`ll handle
without difficulty.
I`m teacher so I need a book kind of "Manual" (otherwise it`s the "Help" in
the applications... ).
I downloaded a Book for Java sometimes ago ("Thinking in Java" ...a well
known book...). It was only little more then 1 Megabytes.
My Inbox doesn`t support files bigger than 3 Megabytes so don`t send me
(please) for to helping me such a file.
You may answer first to my mail (in private or through the group) and then I
could see what I can do. Or, as I said, at least an Internet address from
where I could download a book.

My name is Julian Muscalu, I`m 34, single, I`m teaching Computer Science,
I`m also cineaste (directing and scripts...).
I live in a village from Romania, 40 km west from Bucharest.
You can see several of my photos (with my nieces Monica (13) and Adela (9)
and my sister Any (35) too, photos made by my brother Ady (42 - he`s the

I know very well: Borland Pascal 7.0, Borland C++ 3.1, FoxPro 2.6 (under DOS
and Windows).
I love also Borland Delphi 3.0, Visual Java and Visual Fox 5.0.
(Not talking about "easy" things like: Windows 98 SE and XP, Norton
Commander, Dos Navigator, Word, Excel...etc...)
Of course, Informatics domain is so large and I would like to learn a
thousand years...but there is no time......
I`m a genuine cineaste, I studied art movie for about 20 years now
(directing and scripts)...but is so difficult to realize movies today.
I was in Paris in April - May 1992.
The life in France (especially in Paris) is wonderful (the northern part of
Bucharest resemble to Paris...)
Yet, since 2 or 3 years I started to discuss with my best friend Philippe
(he`s French, and helped me to by my own computer in February...) about a
possible comeback in France (I don`t know when...after a year, two...) to
try to realize my movies` projects...
Philippe was here for 3 weeks in April 1993.I have many friends in France...
When I returned from France (in !992) my health was shaking for the first
time. It was some kind of neurasthenia with anxiety...After 6 months I was
well. I thought I was cured...but in 1998 that began again... I have
"emotions" and for 2 years I`m "addicted" to Xanax and diazepam ... it`s
awful (it is true, I study many, many things: Computer Science, Mathematics
(I was an Olympic student...), Classic music, Movies, Literature (French
prose and English poetry...I speak also very well Italian...)

P.S. I can send you photos with me, my 2 superb nieces (Monica is 13 and
Adela is 9...but they live in Tulcea, 350 km from here and I miss them like
crazy...)
P.S. I`m big fan of Juventus Torino, AC Milan and Rapid Bucharest, Formula 1
(Ferrari and Renault)...
