Category classes in DocBook
Hi!

Is there a machine-readable mapping files for DocBook i.e., for category
classes?

For example in Unicode there are mapping files to normalize characters, to
case-fold characters, to distinguish between lowercase/uppercase,
whitespace, etc.

I believe with the ever-growing number of elements and attributes DocBook
should have something like this. This will make processors always
forward-compatible because they may choose to operate on classes instead
of directly with elements and attributes. I`m not sure how to handle this
with XSLT.

Thank you.
