cfmail (cold fusion) in php
It`s simple: write a page script in ColdFusion that
can send the email by using cfmail tag. After, call
that page within a PHP page, just like you would do
with any other web resource, either using the fopen
function and passing the parameters as a query string,
or using HTTP protocol and posting the contents of the
sending email to the coldfusion script...

Dear Friends,
In one of mine project in PHP i have been asked to use
coldfusion`s email function to send the emails. They
have me asked to use the cfmail tag.
Please friends I myself is not sure how to put up this
question to you but can i use cfmail along with PHP is
there a way. I mean can coldfusion and php be reside
on the same page. Can i use a coldfusion function
inside a php page with extension .php .

Any kind of help will be appreciated.
Thanks

I am not sure how you would accomplish this in one page, but you could
have your php page call a coldfusion page with the appropriate URL
variables (using cURL, i guess). the coldfusion page would then be
able to send the email.
