error details where to find

Hello all,

Me newby have a question.

where on the sun site, or other, can i find a detailed explanation
for an errorcode or message.
for example.
java.io.IOException: CreateProcess: start c:winnt
otepad.exe error=2

If i do a search on the errorline, i always end up on the java forum.
Where is the *offical* correct explenation for this error.

i`m looking for something like in VB

Error 53 file not found
Error 73 path file acces error
Error 74 Path not found

CreateProcess error2: File not found ??? or something

any help welcom

Are you sure that`s not just notepad failing with error code 2 instead of a java
error code?
