Help plzzz: symbols in Java

Hi dearest group, I`m a member of the group but this is the first time to write
to you, and I hope to help me ...
1) I`m a newbie in Java AWT and Swing, I`m making a calculator and I want to
type for example the sqrt symbol (Бу) on one of the buttons, I tried its ascii
code but failed.
2) Can I write arabic in Java???
plzzzz help me to make me able to continue with your fast progress group
