help to code!!!!!!!

Hi folks

Can you please tell me how can i make program in c which reads a
floppy from the floppy drive then modifies its "fat" entry such that
we cant read the floppy again when inserted. Its something related
with getvect() and setvect() functions but i am not getting the
program well.

Plz clarify me ............
1..what is the difference b/w microlithic kernel & macrolithic kernel?
2.what is the kernel which we are using in UNIX ryte now? Is it a multiThreaded kernel/floating point kernel ?I heard that MultiThreaded kernel is very difficult 2 implement ?If so,how do we implement?
3.And is single master kernel still in use?
4.Regarding Run-queue,will the kernel services on priority basis/FIFO?and for implementing it which data structure is used?a doubly linked list?
5.what do u mean by Gang scheduling?heard this is used for implementing Multhi threaded concept?
6.how do we implement Spin lock?Isit by Semaphores?

I am freequently gettin mails frm joe_steeve@...
with no contents
inside(from other grps also)
i think this a virus. Moderator plz look into this
matter...

Hmm., well.. I`m a moderator too. I`ve recieved reports of virus
From my ID. But note, those mails do not originate from any of the
machines I access. I send mail from a GNU/Linux box, so any of
these mass mailing scriptware is out of the question. (I`ve
checked it). It is just spam.

However, The mail that you are quoting was a proper reply that I
posted to the group. If you did not recieve it in full form, then
might be there is a problem either on your side or on my
side. Please contact me off the list with the full headers of the
mail that came empty to you.
