Hopfully a simple question
Hi all,

I am writing a simple recipe book program. At the momemt I am using a
sequential file to hold all of the recipies and a random access file
to hold there location. This works well but with a number of draw
backs one of which is Each recipie has to be allocated the same amount
of bytes not ideal if the user wants to add there own recipies or when
I have just a small recipie.

My question. Is there a better way to store data and keep it randomaly
accesable.

Thanks for your time.

Paul
