My company uses cfxhosting.com They offer great hosting and support, but might be on the expensive side.

Try lnc-hosting.com and hostdepartment.com they are
both in the US. Offer great support. Reseller plans as
well. Free SQL. Access, ASP, .net and CFMX. Allows
custome tags. Lnc uses hosting controller. Hope this
helps. Both are Affordable

What`s actually the problem with bulkmail?
My company uses
www.uplinkearth.com... cheap, good service :).
Not sure whether they support "bulk mail" or not,
you might need to ask them directly...

Thanks for the reccomendations!
Our particular problem is that our bulk mail either never sends or
it takes up to 48 hours to hit inboxes. We (try to) send to 15,000
email addresses 2 to 4 times per week.
Our host complained that our CFMAIL function was clogging their mail
servers, and asked us to use CF_MAIL instead, which directs to a
different server. But when we switched to CF_MAIL, with their other
recommended changes to our code, our emails were simply not being
sent at all.
These problems are literally costing us thousands of dollars.
My real frustration, however, has been their unwillingness to
respond to our support requests in a timely or helpful fashion.
So, after major problems for weeks, I`ve decided to switch. I want
a hosting company that 1) has other clients using CFMAIL to send
major mailings and 2) provides timely, knoweledgeable customer
service. I`m more than happy to pay a lot for hosting if it means
I`ll get these things.
Thanks!

Here are two things to think about.
1 - We use ACTIVE MAIL which is an enhanced CF_MAIL spooler on our CF5
machines. This increases the effectiveness of sending large spools.
2 - On our CF7 servers the new CFMAIL tag is enhanced and flies the mail out
hundreds at a time
Try http://www.onlinecorp.com for reliable, experienced CF hosting.
Thanks

Solution? Convert all your apps to PHP and you will find all the cheap, reliable hosting you will ever need. In addition, you will probably find PHP is more flexible.
Also, I would strongly recommend migrating your data to a server-based platform such as MySQL or Oracle. Microsoft recommends against using MS Access for Web applications.
Hope this helpskarin2727 <karin27@...> wrote:
