How to run my own Servlet in TOMCAT 4.0?
Hi.
I am trying to develop my first servlet in Java.
i am using TOMCAT as the server. It is proplery
installed and working.
Then i wrote a servlet simple one Hello Servlets.
My servlet is not working properly, i need to know that
following answers.

a) Where should i place my .class and .java file,
in which folder?
currently i am placing it in
examples/web-inf/
and my HTML file in
examples/servlets or /root

I need to know where should i place my three files?

B) How to run my servlet from there?
I will be looking forward towards the reply.
