installing perl modules locally

installing perl modules locally
Hello,
How do i pass arguments to $perl Makefile.pl to
install locally. I am sure there is a option to do
that.
Simillarly how do i install stuff locally with perl
-MCPAN -e `install <module>` .

just found it out..
perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=/home/user
make
make test
make install
