license info for component not found?

license info for component not found?
I am just trying to get back into vb programming after a couple of
years out of it.

I own VB5 pro but it now says I do not have the license info to use
most of the compents is this because I use windows and office XP and
there files have writen over the top of VB5`s if so can I get VB5`s
files back?

Boy I don`t think so. There has been 3 versions of VB since the 5.0 version.
A lot of things have changed. I`d recommend you buy VB 6.0 for a few
dollars. I think it`s price would have dropped considering it`s 2 versions
old.
