Our client, a 7-year- old, profitable, Application Service Provider
(ASP) is in search of an Application Development Manager/Director to
lead the technical staff. The company is at the stage is its
development/growth where it needs a hands-on, "roll up your sleeves"
leader to implement a standard development production methodology,
including software development lifecycle discipline (SDLC),
documentation and best practices.
A blend of technical, business and strong management acumen is
required to gain the respect of this highly talented, development
staff of five who have an average tenure of five years at the
company.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, you will have:
10+ years of progressive software development experience, and at
least five years experience managing software developers in
Windows/web-based environment. Experience leading Cold Fusion
developers is highly preferred.
Experience leading a development team for a vendor of technology
solutions, preferably an ASP (application service provider)
Recent experience introducing a standard development production
methodology in an environment requiring swift resolution of "paying"
customer issues.
Strong relationship and communication skills.
A desire to contribute and make things happen in an entrepreneurial
environment.
