Open Publish 2005 tutorials filling fast -- get in now
All:

I spoke to the Open Publish 2005 office just now (<
http://www.openpublish.com.au/>). Just because you have registered for the
conference doesn`t mean you will get into the tutorials on Wednesday, 27
July. Many people fail to fill in the tutorials they want to attend on the
registration form and rock up on the day expecting to pick and choose. Not
so. If you have already registered, my advice would be to contact the
conference office and specify your preferences now as tutorials are filling
fast. They are:

@ Topic maps for content and knowledge management
@ Designing an ICC compliant workflow
@ From tables to full CSS? (web page layout stratagems)
@ Enterprise CM using word processors
@ Selecting a content management system
@ How to do a content audit (damn! simultaneous with previous tutorial)

If you haven`t registered at all by now, you will have no problems
attending the presentations, but tutorials could be filled. My advice:
don`t wait until the last minute.

Looking forward to seeing international and Australian delegates
implementing XML solutions for user documentation, in particular CMSs that
can manage versioning, workflow, and repurposing, and the DITA schemas and
tools.

Regards,
Hedley
