Instant messenger trick help??

Instant messenger trick help??
Hi all i am new here. My friend keeps sending me
links within AOL Instant Messenger. The link may be any
words at all. When I click on the link in the IM
window, another MS Window comes up and has some custom
insult in it. I think this is some sort of Javascript
but not sure. She won`t tell me how to do it. Anyone
familiar with this little prank, and can you help me
figure out how to do it?
