Difference between C-style cast and other casts
Hi,
I tried to find out the difference between the C-style casts and the
XX_cast (XX- reinterpret, static, dynamic, const).
I could understand the use of dynamic_cast but not the other operators.

I searched MSDN and google, but the answers are far from satisfactory.
( Or perhaps, I couldn`t understand the nuances :( )

If the compiler does not guarantee safe casting with reinterpret_cast,
then why should we use this operator in place of C-style cast?

An example which shows the advantages of the XX_casts over old -style
casts will be deeply appreciated.

Regards,
Pranav
