Best tools for schemas (DTD or XML-based), stylesheets (CSS

For developing schemas stylesheets, transforms, and output formatting, a
WYSIWYG environment gives you instant feedback and helps you get at least
the first cut done quickly. Then you can go into code view to do the
detailed tweaking.
Altova has XMLspy and Stylevision, and Tibco has TurboXML (XML Authority
for schemas, XML Instance for editing XML docs, XML Validate for parsing
streaming XML docs, XML Transform for creating stylesheets and
transformations --but not, it seems, formatting objects).
Has anybody evaluated these toolsets side-by-side for ease of use and
WYSIWYGiness? Which would you recommend? And if you`ve stumbled across
some really useful tools better than either of those mentioned, please say
so!
We will be using Structured FrameMaker as an XML editor, but will need
other tools to help us while configuring the workflow: specialising DITA
schemas, modifying or developing stylesheets, modifying or developing
transformations and output generation.
