Converting string variable to socket handle

Converting string variable to socket handle

Hi all,

I get a sock variable (sock handle) with value
"IO::Socket::INET=GLOB(0x839c464)" and store it in my mysql database.
When i retrieve this data , its come as STRING and the print $sock
"Hello Word
" don`t work. :(

I need to convert this STRING to socket handle. Anybody can help me?

How did you set the value of $sock to "IO::Socket::INET=GLOB(0x839c464)"?

writing $socket var direct to database!
