hi all

i am new to this group and i would like to learn perl. so
pls. tell me some web sites to learn basic perl and if there is any
editor for using perl.

you can go through the PERL tutorial at

Books :
The 3 books that you must have are (All OReilly)

1. Learning Perl - as a tutorial
2. Programming Perl – Larry Wall – Reference
3. Perl Cookbook – a must have to help you save
time

There are few editors like PerlEdit, EditPlus which
have good features...
