(Technology Universe), is a growing software house, specialized in
the development of web applications and application support, and is
currently seeking to recruit the following positions:
Position: PHP Developer (Job Ref#: PHP0701)
Job Description:
• Develop and deploy complex web applications
• Analyze project specifications
• Test and debug applications
• Research and experiment with new technologies
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
experience;
• Between 1-3 years of professional experience with at least 1
year in PHP-based development;
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL
• Experience working in database environments
• Experienced and comfortable programming complex php queries.
• Zend Development Environment is a plus
• Experience with application and systems like Apache and Linux
is a plus
General Skills:
• Excellent Arabic & English verbal and written communications
skills
• Strong communication and logical reasoning skills
• Self-motivated, creative and able to work in a collaborative
environment.
• Must be a creative problem solver, and an aggressive team
player
• Effective organizational and time management skills. Ability
to set and adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and work with minimum

Position: Senior .NET Developer (Job Ref#: DV0701)
Job Description:
• Develop and deploy complex web applications
• Manage team of junior developers
• Ability to initiate projects and balance multiple projects at
once
• Analyze project specifications and develop detailed design
• Test and debug applications
• Research and experiment with new technologies
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
experience;
• Between 1-3 years of professional experience with at least 1
year in ASP.NET development;
• Excellent knowledge in ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET) and ADO.NET
• Good knowledge in ASP
• Good knowledge in UML
• Good understanding of Rational XDE is a plus
• Good knowledge in COM+, web services
• Excellent knowledge in SQL Server
• Good knowledge of Design Patterns
• Good knowledge in (MS Sharepoint portal server 2003, MS
BizTalk server 2004, MS content management server, MS customer
relationship management server) is a plus

Job Description:
• Write software documentation, both online and PDF, for
internal and external customers, including "How To" guides, reference
manuals, user guides, technical overviews, architecture overviews,
procedures and more.
• Monitor user comments to identify future documentation needs.
• Organize existing documents, identify documentation holes and
spearhead efforts to fill them in.
• Create screenshots and other conceptual graphics.
• Manage document source and output using source control.
• Edit, clarify and proofread documents written by engineers.
• Coach engineers on ways to improve their writing skills.
• Creates document templates (internal and external)
• Mentor less experienced writers.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor`s degree;
• Between 2-4 years of professional experience with at least 2
years in technical writing;
• Proven experience with Robohelp or similar content generation
tool.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills.
• Proven experience writing context-sensitive help for multiple
audiences.
• Able to take on existing documentation and work independently
to meet deadlines

Job Description:
• Formulate test strategies.
• Establish and improve QA process/procedures
• Create test plans, cases and scripts and all activities aimed
at improving the customer experience with the product.
• Analyze test results, and report problems via the defect
tracking system.
• Verify code fixes and sign off on resolutions.
• Run existing test cases
• Document test case results
• Improve and modify existing test cases
• Maintaining strict deadlines to ensure updates and new
releases remain on schedule
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science;
• Between 2-4 years of professional experience with at least 2
years in quality assurance environment;
• Good knowledge in Software development life cycle
• Good knowledge of UML.
• Familiar with some of the following technologies SQL, HTML,
JAVA and .NET.
• Good knowledge in ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET) is a plus
• Good knowledge of ACT is a plus
• Good knowledge of Astra load is a plus
