dynamic combo boxex!
dear friends,
i am writing a program which has connectivity to oracle.it is some sort of search program.What i am trying to do is
Suppose i have following things in an oracle table
Area Section parttype part---- ------- -------- -----fab cim xyz qfab cim xyz rfab cim xyz2 tfab cim xyz2 ufab cim xyz2 htna rfg xvv e tna rfg xvv ttna rfg bvn ytna rfg bvn ifab tuv bvp yfab tuv bvp ufab uiy hjk ufab uiy hjl ttna yuu yyy ytna yvv ttt u
i want to write a code on page which will open a page having few combo boxes. first one will be area - it will have list of fab,tna which will come from oracle query.Next combo box will be section - what i want here is that if i select fab from the first combo box then only CIM,tuv and uiv should appear in section combo boxnow third combo box is part type > if i have selected uiv from section combo box then only hjk and uiv should appear in the list of part type.
In Nut shell i want to pass values to next combo box dynamically depending upon value selected in previous combo box.i don`t want to use submit button after each and every step

What you want it ofcourse possible.
I presume you intend to do this in C/C++. Please also
mention which GUI platform you want to use. If it is
GTK+, I may be able to offer some help.
