Im Ramesh., what is an associaltive array ?? hwo to check the
keys and values of asscoiative array is defined r not....plz help me..

We haven`t used the term "associative array" in ten years. If you see a
document with that term, it`s far too old to be of any use.

What you`re looking for is a "hash", as described in "perldoc perldata",
or in the resources listed at http://learn.perl.org.

Hi Ramesh,

I googled for "Perl associative array" to get information on associative
array
then I got so many good links which are related to associative array.

Please go through following links

And ANY such page on the net is a *leftover* from OVER A DECADE AGO.

All such information should be *suspect* and *distrusted*.

There`s far too much modern information to rely on such relics
from the Net Gone Past.

I repeat..

IF YOU SEE A DOC THAT CALLS IT AN ASSOCIATIVE ARRAY,
DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER.
