Hot to check a process is running; if not start it
Hi friends,
i wanted to create a daemon and wants to be assured it is running successfully.
so i think of making a script in perl which will see that the process is running
and if not start the process.
I need inputs on how to check , i know of the command like ps -ef and should i
store the output in a variable and do regex for the file name or what.
Pl. help
Regards,
Abhishek jain
