SQL Server
I have a doubt on SQL Server.

When we select records from a table, we want to get the index of
the rows in one field. How can I get this. The index refers to
the order in which the data is selected. We should not use any
ORDER BY Clause.

It would be great if any one of you could help me.

Thank you very much,

baburaj
