can we make desktop and daemon progs. via php
Dear Friends,
I do wanted to make a desktop application via php .
I also needed to make a daemon which constantly listens on a specific port(and
which does not die) all in php.
Can and how will i be able to make that , also is there any library available
in php for simplifying network(socket listening etc.) programming.
Any help will be appreciated

Be more specific pls.

You want php-gtk. There may be similar projects out there already.
