Is easy dropdown anything like EasyListBox? :-D
How likely is it that you have some other code that messes with the list
items?

Trying to get contents of selected dropdown....its weird
<option value="7">34</option>
userDropDown.SelectedItem.Value gives me 34 and not the expected 7
