dunno if you still have this problem, but you can create a PHP/MySQL
hybrid for your search engine... unless you wanna create spiders/web
diggers, then that`s another story which i can`t help.

MySQL supports lots of native text/pattern searches... all you need is
the data to search and the formula to generate the necessary links.

Hope this directs you to the correct path of programming enlightenment.
