Expecting help? What have you done for me lately? Have you read the
documentation? After you do, you may get a better answer to a specific
question than your general call for some one to hold your hand and read the
docs for you.

Mark (et al)

Perhaps Harish`s generic request for help was naive and misguided, but
your flaming reply is quite uncalled for. I`ve seen flames like this
from time to time (and I don`t even read many of the forum email `cuz
I`m pretty amateur and usually don`t feel that I`d be of any help) and I
don`t think it`s a very humane and hospitable way to treat fellow human
beings. `Puter Gods like what you envision yourself to be aren`t really
any better than anyone else... we`ve all done stupid things before...
and here`s a far less hurtful way to accomplish what you tried to do,
and you could have helped Harish to help himself instead of trying to
make him fearful to seek out any help at all:

Harish,
As you know, Mambo is used for xxxxxxxxx. There is good
documentation at http://www.xxxxxxx.yyy/zzzzz. Please review that
doc for general usage questions, and also to find help with your
specific solution that you are trying to build. If, after doing
that research you still have specific questions, post a note to the
forum with particulars about your issue.
Sincerely
Mark

apologies, woke up on the wrong side of the bed, sorry.

The rest of the reply is okay though, without some sort of specific error
reported there isn`t much you can do with a question like:

Paul,

I second your comment!

Harish,

Don’t let anyone put you down. I for myself could in total frustration have
asked the very same question. Unfortunately, I’m not at all into Mambo, so I
can’t help you. But, please, feel my support!

The original poster is obviously not a native English speaker. The rest of
his message was very respectful. By answering harshly, you`re basically
putting down his commendable efforts to learn English. I can`t speak for
other natives, but I sure am glad so many smart people have made the effort
to learn my language. I`m currently learning Mandarin and can appreciate how
hard it is.

Hi there

If u have successfully managed to install mambo, then to get best out of it,
there are lot of modules, components and blocks available. Most of these
extentions are with installation instructions. If not, here is link for complete
manual for mambo. You can read the relevant chapters and also you can learn to
get the best out of it.

http://edigestsupport.com/downloads/MamboAdminGuide451.pdf

There is one more website, which offers multimedia support, as soon as I get it,
I will post u a mail.

Re: Need help with Mambo
hi ,

Thanks for the link and as you said I had installed the Mambo
sucessfully.I was stuck at deleteing the installation folder and sub-
folders which i just missed or made me confusing and deleted the
whole directory.

This was the problem and i have read the entire admin document
referrred by you. Thanks for that too.It really gave me real
insight. Also, I would acknowedge you for your reply by placing Your
name or link to your site for that piece of infor.

I have lots of other doubts too and if felt for your need would post
the same.

Thanking you once again for the consideration,I remain
