Sending mails using PHP

Sending mails using PHP
Hi friend..
I am using the PHP`s MAIL function to receive mail from my
website to my mailid.
But i am not able to receive any from mywebsite.
Whether i need to configure anything on the server side.
I am using the remote server.
i don`t know much about PHP...
Plz help me it will be thankful for u..

Sending mails using PHP
Hi Senthil,
I had the same problem I am using WinXP as my web server and I resovled it doing
following
Strat->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Internet Information Services->
Default SMTP Virtual Server->Properties->Access->Connections->Add
now type 127.0.0.1(This is your localhost)
I am sure this should work.

Sending mails using PHP

Thank you very much for your kind reply....
Actually i am using the remote server.
It is Linux server.
Is there anything to be specified for the remote server?
Whether we need to change anything on the remote machine.
I got something as we need to specify SMTP value or name..
I don`t know clearly about it...
Plz give some more information.....
