which is better to install VSTS on ?
Hi All
which is recommeneded windows to install VSTS and SQL 2005 on? Windows server
2003 standard edition with sp1 or windows xp pro with sp2 ? on NTFS partion.
i`m using it on a local machine at home for educational purposes only, so what
do you recommend to me?
i want to avoid any security problems regarding to it like the "SQL Server
doesn`t exist or access denied" or any other security problems.
so any recommendations?

which is better to install VSTS on ?
XP Pro is probably a better choice for a development machine.

which is better to install VSTS on ?
Windows XP with a Virtual PC.

You can then create a XP or 2003 Virtual PC and install anything you
want there.
Your SQLserver will be on 2003 with it`s own private C: drive and if
you turn on network acces-s your XP connects to it as if it was a
separate server.
